Elizabeth Carmer (1904–1971) was a painter. She illustrated many books in collaboration with her husband, Carl Carmer, including Hurricane Luck (1954) and The Hurricane’s Children (1965). Together they wrote Mike Fink and the Big Turkey Shoot (1965). She also created nonfiction, writing The Susquehanna from New York to the Chesapeake (1964) jointly with Carl.
