Feliz Lucia Molina was born and raised to Filipino immigrants in Los Angeles, CA. She holds a B.A. in writing and literature from Naropa University and an M.F.A. in literary arts from Brown University where she was the recipient of the Weston Poetry Prize and Michael S. Harper Award for Poety.

She is the author of the poetry collection Undercastle (Magic Helicopter Press, 2013/2016), a coauthor of the novel The Wes Letters (2014), forthcoming poetry chapbook Crystal Marys (Scary Topiary Press, 2016) and generative poetry book Roulette (Make Now Books, 2017). Her writing has appeared and is forthcoming in Gauss PDF, Jacket2, ElevenEleven Journal, SF MOMA Open Space, and others.

She is occasionally based in the high desert town of Landers in California.

Wood

Feliz Lucia Molina worked in the Wood studio.

Wood Studio, given to the residency program by Mrs. Frederick Trevor Hill, was completed in 1913 in memory of Mrs. Hill’s mother, Helen Ogden Wood. Like Schelling Studio, the building is sided with large, overlapping pieces of hemlock bark.
