Katrina Tuvera has authored a collection of short fiction, Testament and Other Stories (Anvil, 2002), and a novel set in the Philippines during the martial law years, The Jupiter Effect (Anvil, 2006), which she worked on while at MacDowell. Both received the National Book Award by the Manila Critics Circle. She has co-edited two anthologies of Philippine literature, Querida and Elite, with Caroline Hau and Isabelita Reyes. Tuvera’s second novel, The Collaborators, was released by the Ateneo de Manila University Press in 2022.

Given to the residency by the Monday Music Club of Orange, NJ, Monday Music Studio is sited next to an enormous boulder deposited by glaciers thousands of years ago.
