Kevin Moffett worked on his third book, a novel tentatively titled Transmission, as well as a collaborative multi-part narrative app for mobile devices. His second collection of stories, Further Interpretations of Real-Life Events, was published by Harper Perennial in March 2012.

Given to the residency by the Monday Music Club of Orange, NJ, Monday Music Studio is sited next to an enormous boulder deposited by glaciers thousands of years ago.
