Kima Jones has received fellowships from PEN Center USA Emerging Voices, Kimbilio Fiction, and MacDowell. She has been published at Guernica, NPR, PANK, and The Rumpus among others. She is the founder of Jack Jones Literary Arts, a book publicity company. Kima lives in Los Angeles and is writing her first poetry collection, The Anatomy of Forgiveness.

Funded by the Phi Beta Fraternity, a national professional fraternity of music and speech founded in 1912, Phi Beta Studio was built between 1929–1931 of granite quarried on the MacDowell grounds.
