Lloyd Van Brunt is the author of numerous collections of poetry published in 50 years. His poems & articles have been published in numerous magazines, including Harper’s, The Nation, Exquisite Corpse, The Smith, The New York Times Magazine, The Los Angeles Times Magazine and The American Poetry Review. He was one of the founding poetry editors of The Pushcart Prize, and also has served as poetry editor of The Oconee Review and The Smith. He has won residence scholarships at numerous artists’ colonies, including Yaddo, MacDowell and Peredelkino. He lives in Levittown, Pennsylvania.

Wood

Lloyd Van Brunt worked in the Wood studio.

Wood Studio, given to the residency program by Mrs. Frederick Trevor Hill, was completed in 1913 in memory of Mrs. Hill’s mother, Helen Ogden Wood. Like Schelling Studio, the building is sided with large, overlapping pieces of hemlock bark.
