Argentinian writer and film director Martin Rejtman worked on the script of his fourth feature film at MacDowell. Prior to his residency, he published his third collection of short stories, finished the documentary Copacabana, and codirected the movie Elementary Training For Actors, which was premiered at the Los Angeles Film Festival.

Martin Rejtman worked in the Wood studio.

Wood Studio, given to the residency program by Mrs. Frederick Trevor Hill, was completed in 1913 in memory of Mrs. Hill’s mother, Helen Ogden Wood. Like Schelling Studio, the building is sided with large, overlapping pieces of hemlock bark.
