Nicholas Sperakis (born in New York, USA, 1943 - died in Bogota, Colombia, 2017) was maker of expressionist paintings and woodblock prints.

Sperakis studied at the Art Students League, Pratt Graphics Center, and The National Academy of Design, in New York. He taught at a number of institutions including Columbia University, Pratt Graphic Art Center, and Fashion Institute of Technology. He was a member of the Society of American Graphic Artists SAGA, The American Federation of Modern Painters and Sculptors, and American Federation of Art.

He co-founded the Rhino Horn Group, a neo-expressionist figurative artist group, and received a Guggenheim Foundation Fellowship as well as a Rosenthal Foundation Award. His work has been in shows at several locations in Europe, United States, Mexico and South America, and is in the permanent exhibitions of various prominent museums.
