Ofir Klemperer (b. 1982) is a composer, improviser, singer/ song writer, and producer born in Israel. He pursued his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in music composition at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague, the Netherlands. In residence, he worked on a piece for violin and organ, which will be played in Tel Aviv, Israel in March 2019. He also recorded a 45-minute album with the grand piano he had in his studio, and his synthesizer, which he brought with him to MacDowell.

Ofir recently finished scoring music for an Adult Swim cartoon series called "Tender Touches 2," composing and conducting his Atlanta Improvisers Orchestra. He also scored music for Nitzan Ron's Israeli short film Siren, and arranged orchestral music for the Israel Camerata Jerusalem in their latest performance Taglyot with selected Israeli iconic pop artists in December 2018.

Delta Omicron Studio was funded by members of the international musical fraternity in 1927. The building design is somewhat medieval in character, with an unusual cedar shingle pattern, a steeply pitched slate roof, intersecting gables, and small windows.
