Rebecca Dale is a British Composer signed to Decca Classics, who release her Requiem in 2018. Described by Gramophone as a 'masterpiece', her work traverses concert music and film; she has written for major orchestras, worked on Classical No.1 albums, Hollywood films and BBC television series, is a fellow of the Sundance Composers Lab, the ASCAP Film Scoring Workshop, and a nominee for best original music in feature film at the 2017 Music & Sound Awards. While at MacDowell she worked on a cello concerto.

Van Zorn (formerly Kirby)

Rebecca Dale worked in the Van Zorn (formerly Kirby) studio.

Constructed thanks to a bequest from Sarah L. Kirby, Kirby Studio was the last new building to be erected during Mrs. MacDowell’s leadership (1907-1951).
