Robert "Robi" Akeret (1928-2016)
At MacDowell worked on his book, What The Hell Happened? Pushing The Boundaries Of Psychotherapy. His fourth book, Tales From A Traveling Couch, was translated into eight languages. He is a graduate of the William Alanson White Institute, where he trained with Rollo May and Erich Fromm.

Given to the residency by the Monday Music Club of Orange, NJ, Monday Music Studio is sited next to an enormous boulder deposited by glaciers thousands of years ago.
