Samein Priester worked on a personal documentary titled Broken+, a film that explores the life of his sibling’s father after being released from a 30-year prison sentence. His thesis film 1st &4Ever won “Best Documentary” in the Newark Museum Black Film Festival 2012, as well as “Best Documentary” and “Best Cinematography in a Documentary” in the 2011 Citivision thesis show.
