Sarah Hardesty had her first New York solo exhibition at Davidson Contemporary. She has been awarded residencies at the Santa Fe Art Institute and Vermont Studio Center (with grants from the Joan Mitchell Foundation and the Vermont Studio Center), the Wassaic Project, and the Carriage House. She received her M.F.A. from the University of Arizona and her B.S. from Skidmore College. Her work has been included in exhibitions at the Tucson Museum of Art and The Museum of Contemporary Art, Tucson, AZ; The ISE Cultural Foundation, New York, NY; Davidson Contemporary, New York, NY; Storefront Gallery, Brooklyn, NY; Kenise Barnes Fine Art, NY; The Wassaic Project, NY; MPG Gallery, Boston; and Wheaton College, MA.
