Suzanne Wise is the author of the poetry collection The Kingdom of the Subjunctive (Alice James Books, 2000). Her poetry has also appeared in the anthologies American Poetry: the Next Generation and Legitimate Dangers: American Poets of the New Century, and in the journals Tikkun, Pierogi Press, Boston Review, Fence, and elsewhere. She has taught creative writing at Middlebury College in Vermont, and Pratt Institute and Poets House in New York City.

Phi Beta

Suzanne Wise worked in the Phi Beta studio.

Funded by the Phi Beta Fraternity, a national professional fraternity of music and speech founded in 1912, Phi Beta Studio was built between 1929–1931 of granite quarried on the MacDowell grounds.
