Prepare for the Future

KIPNZ gallery in Walton, NY is pleased to present Prepare for the Future, a solo exhibition by Tatana Kellner. The exhibition will feature new paintings and prints reflecting the artist’s interest in contemporary issues. Tatana works at the intersection of image and text, using painting, printing, and collage to contemplate the world around us. She melds the daily conflicts, both far and near, with the absolute joy of welcoming the new day so full of possibilities with open eyes and heart. Tatana is interested in the gap between abstraction and representation. Her process is organic, expressive and intuitive. She is interested in seeing that which does not exist, that which surprises her. Through a process of accumulation and subtraction, she embraces the subjectivity of her particular experience and perspective.
