Adrienne Salinger has exhibited internationally at venues that include the Museum of Modern Art, the Art Institute of Chicago, Barcelona’s Fundacion “la Caixa,” The New Museum, the National Gallery of Canada, the National Museum of American Art, the Museum of Contemporary Art (Chicago), and the Walker Art Center. In addition, her work is represented in a variety of permanent institutional collections, including the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, the Museum of Fine Arts (Houston), the Art Institute of Chicago, the International Polariod Corporation, the Bibliotheque Nationale (Paris), and the National Gallery of Canada. A MacDowell Fellow, Salinger has received numerous awards and grants, including two Light Work Photographer’s Grants, a Visual Artist’s Sponsored Project Award from the New York State Council on the Arts, and several more.

Mansfield

Adrienne Salinger worked in the Mansfield studio.

The Helen Coolidge Mansfield Studio was donated by graduates of the Mansfield War Service Classes for Reconstruction Aides. Helen Mansfield helped found the New York MacDowell Club. The small, shingled frame structure with stone foundation was originally fronted on the west side by a neat white picket fence and gate, a garden, and a stone pathway…
