Interdisciplinary artist and musician Andrea Oliver Roberts, based in Winnipeg, Canada, uses language, sound, and “systems of belief within capitalism” to complete sculptures and installations. They were a resident at Brooklyn’s Pioneerworks and Miami’s Oolite Arts and their large-scale site-specific performance work Crisis Canon premiered at Plug In ICA's STAGES biennial in 2019.

They worked on new compositions for VOR and their solo experimental sound project while at MacDowell. They also worked to develop sculptural installations that play with the “sonic architectures of leisure, illness, and healing.”
