Andrew Martin’s first novel Early Work was published in 2018 and was named a New York Times Notable Book of the Year, as well as one of the best books of the year by The New Yorker, PBS NewsHour, Bookforum, and WBUR Boston. His stories have been published in The Paris Review, The Los Angeles Review of Books Quarterly, and Zyzzyva, and his essays have appeared in The New York Review of Books, Harper's, and T: The New York Times Style Magazine. A story collection, entitled Cool for America, will be published in 2020. He currently lives in Jamaica Plain, Boston.
