Azareen Van der Vliet Oloomi is the author of Fra Keeler (Dorothy, A Publishing Project, 2012). Her work has appeared or is forthcoming in BOMB, Paris Review Daily, The Believer, The American Reader, The Brooklyn Rail, Denver Quarterly, Words without Borders, and elsewhere. She is the recipient of a 2015 Whiting Writer’s Award and a Fulbright Fellowship to Calatonia, Spain. She has lived in Italy, Spain, Iran, the United Arab Emirates, and the U.S.A. She currently teaches in the M.F.A. program in creative writing at the University of Notre Dame and splits her time between South Bend, Indiana and Florence, Italy. Fra Keeler is forthcoming in Italian from Giulio Perrone Editore in 2015.

The Lodge Annex, a wing on the west side of the men’s dormitory (The Lodge), was completed in 1926.
