Christopher Jane Corkery is a poet and essayist. Educated at Manhattanville College and Trinity College Dublin, Corkery has taught at Harvard University, as well as at College of the Holy Cross since 1989. Her first book, Blessing, was published by Princeton University Press and is in its second edition, published by The Authors Guild. Her work has also appeared in journals such as Agni, The Atlantic Monthly, The Kenyon Review, Ploughshares, and others. Winner of a Pushcart Prize and an Ingram Merrill Foundation Fellowship, Corkery has also been a Fellow at Yaddo and MacDowell.

Mansfield

Christopher Corkery worked in the Mansfield studio.

The Helen Coolidge Mansfield Studio was donated by graduates of the Mansfield War Service Classes for Reconstruction Aides. Helen Mansfield helped found the New York MacDowell Club. The small, shingled frame structure with stone foundation was originally fronted on the west side by a neat white picket fence and gate, a garden, and a stone pathway…
