Christopher Dickens received his master's of fine arts in fiction from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in 2010. Since then he has been writing a memoir about his family and horseracing. Lately he’s been keeping bees and building chicken coops in East Nashville.

Christopher Dickens worked in the Sorosis studio.
Sorosis Studio was funded by the New York Carol Club of Sorosis. The small, masonry studio was designed by F. Winsor, Jr., the architect who also designed Savidge Library (1926) and Mixter Studio (1927).
