Cori Thomas worked on a Sloan Foundation commission. Her play WHEN JANUARY FEELS LIKE SUMMER was developed at Sundance Theatre Lab 2008 and received its world premiere at City Theatre Co., Pittsburgh 2010. PA'S HAT: LIBERIAN LEGACY was developed at the Goodman Theatre and world premiered at Pillsbury House Theatre in 2010. In addition to the Sloan Foundation Commission, Cori has also been commissioned by South Coast Repertory

Cori Thomas worked in the New Jersey studio.

The yellow clapboard New Jersey Studio, located on a grassy, sloping site, was funded by the New Jersey Federation of Women’s Clubs and built as an exact replica of Monday Music Studio (1913).
