Doug DuBois lives in upstate New York. He worked on editing a book of photographs taken over four years in Ireland, titled My Last Day at Seventeen. He is a current recipient of the Guggenheim Foundation Fellowship in photography.

Given to the MacDowell Association by Margaret Adams of Chicago, the half-timbered, stuccoed Adams Studio was designed by MacDowell Fellow and architect F. Tolles Chamberlin ca. 1914.
