Edwina Babcock (1875-1965) was an American writer and poet. She published multiple poetry anthologies including Greek Wayfarers, and Other Poems (G.P. Putnam’s Sons, 1916); and The Flying Parliament and Other Poems (James T. White and Company, 1918). In addition, she edited and published a compilation of classical literature titled Under the Law (Penn Publishing Company, 1923).

Mansfield

Edwina Babcock worked in the Mansfield studio.

The Helen Coolidge Mansfield Studio was donated by graduates of the Mansfield War Service Classes for Reconstruction Aides. Helen Mansfield helped found the New York MacDowell Club. The small, shingled frame structure with stone foundation was originally fronted on the west side by a neat white picket fence and gate, a garden, and a stone pathway…
