Erin Hogan is the author of Spiral Jetta: A Road Trip through the Land Art of the American West and makes her living as the director of public affairs and communications at the Art Institute of Chicago. She worked towards finishing Strung Out, the story of her love affair with stringed instruments, and also worked on aa history of solitude.

The yellow clapboard New Jersey Studio, located on a grassy, sloping site, was funded by the New Jersey Federation of Women’s Clubs and built as an exact replica of Monday Music Studio (1913).
