Hasan Elahi worked on a body of photo and video works recreating historic landscape paintings using modern technologies with military roots. He is a 2016 Guggenheim Fellow and has been conducting surveillance on himself for the benefit of the FBI for the past fourteen years.

New Hampshire Studio, originally named Peterborough Studio, was given to MacDowell by Mr. and Mrs. William Schofield, Mrs. H. A. Chamberlain, Mrs. Andrew Draper, and Miss Ruth Cheney.
