Heather Peterson worked on a collection of theoretical architectures which explore history's agency as a site of critique. While at MacDowell, she strived to complete the last piece in this collection, through both a design proposition and a critical essay.

The yellow clapboard New Jersey Studio, located on a grassy, sloping site, was funded by the New Jersey Federation of Women’s Clubs and built as an exact replica of Monday Music Studio (1913).
