At MacDowell, Jennifer Allen began work on a new interdisciplinary performance piece, "OPEN." She created video and music for the piece, as well as the initial dance material. A work-in-progress showing is scheduled for the piece at Dixon Place in New York.

Given to the MacDowell Association by Margaret Adams of Chicago, the half-timbered, stuccoed Adams Studio was designed by MacDowell Fellow and architect F. Tolles Chamberlin ca. 1914.
