Jessica Sharzer is an American screenwriter, director, producer, and editor. She is known for her work on the Showtime drama series The L Word and the FX horror series American Horror Story. She wrote the screenplays for the films Nerve, Dirty Dancing, and A Simple Favor.

Jessica Sharzer worked in the Mixter studio.

Built in 1927–1930, the Florence Kilpatrick Mixter Studio was funded by its namesake and designed by the architect F. Winsor, Jr., who also designed MacDowell's original Savidge Library in 1925.
