Meron Hadero is a lawyer and writer who worked on her first novel, which explores contemporary themes in African and diaspora life around hidden texts/stories, politics, history, loss, and forgiveness. She was born in Ethiopia during the dictatorship and came to the United States (via East and West Germany) as a refugee with her family when she was a young child.
