Nana Nkweti is a Cameroonian-American writer and a graduate of the Iowa Writers’ Workshop whose work has been featured in numerous magazines, journals, and online publications. She is currently completing Like Walking on Cowry Shells, a linked short-story collection that focuses on the lives of hyphenated-Americans who share her multi-culti heritage in the United States and Africa.

Ngwah-Mbo Nkweti worked in the Mansfield studio.

The Helen Coolidge Mansfield Studio was donated by graduates of the Mansfield War Service Classes for Reconstruction Aides. Helen Mansfield helped found the New York MacDowell Club. The small, shingled frame structure with stone foundation was originally fronted on the west side by a neat white picket fence and gate, a garden, and a stone pathway…
