Peng Zuqiang makes moving images. Zuqiang’s works have been shown at exhibitions and festivals including Antimatter, UCC Beijing, Dok Leipzig, Open City Documentary Festival, Connecting Space in Hong Kong, and Museum of Fine Arts, Houston. He has received fellowships and residencies from the Skowhegan, True/False Film Festival, the Lighthouse Works, and the Core Program. His first feature Nan (2020) is having its World Premiere at IDFA, 2020. While at MacDowell, he will be working on a new project that looks at the history of 8.75mm film in China's 70s.

New Hampshire Studio, originally named Peterborough Studio, was given to MacDowell by Mr. and Mrs. William Schofield, Mrs. H. A. Chamberlain, Mrs. Andrew Draper, and Miss Ruth Cheney.
