Sarah DeLappe generated material for four distinct plays in residence at MacDowell, all of which were commissioned by theaters including Lincoln Center, Playwrights Horizons, and Atlantic.

Her play The Wolves premiered off-Broadway in 2016, and was a finalist for the 2017 Pulitzer Prize in Drama. It was one of the most produced plays of 2018 and 2019, and was produced by ConVal High School in Peterborough, NH, in 2020.

Mansfield

Sarah DeLappe worked in the Mansfield studio.

The Helen Coolidge Mansfield Studio was donated by graduates of the Mansfield War Service Classes for Reconstruction Aides. Helen Mansfield helped found the New York MacDowell Club.
