Sojung Kwon is a Korean artist who currently works in Los Angeles. She prepared for her solo exhibit in February 2013. To reach MacDowell, she drove coast to coast for the first time.

Sojung Kwon worked in the Cheney studio.
Cheney Studio was given to MacDowell by Mrs. Benjamin P. Cheney and Mrs. Karl Kauffman. Like Barnard Studio, Cheney is a low, broadly massed bungalow.
